Modeus is a healthcare software provider to both Australian and International markets. It currently services over 5,500 customers across pharmacy, veterinary, aged care, hospital, paramedic services, medication, warehousing, distribution and mining industries. Modeus is privately-owned and based in Melbourne, Australia with 100% in-house teams of developers, support, training, implementation and sales.
Commencing operations in 2003, Modeus has transformed controlled drug management within the retail pharmacy industry via two groundbreaking products. The adoption of DDBook for all controlled drugs as well as MethDA for methadone programs saw a near-universal shift from paper-based to digital recording through these digital platforms.
In 2022, over 80% of retail pharmacies use Modeus products daily and this figure continues to grow. Owing to the success within the retail pharmacy industry, Modeus has expanded to other industries that use controlled drugs.
In 2018, Modeus entered the aged care and hospital markets. Although these markets are traditionally slower to adopt digital systems, Modeus has experienced significant success to date. Our hospital software, HS8, has been rolled out to over 50 hospitals in Australia and is expected to grow rapidly based on the levels of interest as well as securing a state-wide tender for all public hospitals in Western Australia. Modeus is also engaged with a number of large aged care groups to implement DiamondCare, our Aged Care CD register.
In September 2022, Modeus partnered with Choice Aged Care, the largest professional services business in the Australian aged care industry, currently servicing over 400 facilities and growing.
